A tough run with cyclones and power outages, but the fish are still biting for others! Coffee Cart Carl pulls up a 22.5lb snapper on a grumpy fish lure, Kevin lands a 60kg yellowfin tuna, and the cape is producing marlin daily including a massive Northern Bluefin.

Gamefish season is underway with shortbill spearfish being tagged, while slow jigs with bait strips are producing snapper at the 60m mark. Weather has been the main challenge but any window is worth taking.
