Designed in house, and further developed and tested in conjunction with Black Magic pro angler, Jonah Yick, this new XT lure has already proven its worth, landing dozens of SBTs on both sides of the Tasman.
The Jonah’s Kona XT is a kona faced lure with a reverse taper head, giving the whole lure a pronounced wiggle, not unlike a fleeing bait fish.
Its cut face is also scooped, and the head is keel weighted, meaning it will track left and right while diving and popping. This creates an impressive smoke trail, while teasing fish up from the depths.
Like all XT lures, it's made from our high tech XtraTuff material meaning it won’t crack or chip like normal resin heads, although it may get the odd ‘badge of honour’ graze as a billfish strikes.
Available in 6” and 8" sizes (in a wide range of colours), meaning these lures will suit most pelagic species.
