The Rod

Nanomatrix 642H jig

The tried and tested 40 tonne nano-carbon blank is often described as one of the best value high performance rods on the market. The incredibly sensitive nature of the Toray blank coupled with either fuji or alps hardware make these battle ready and an incredibly nice rod to fish with. Every rod in the range has been designed in New Zealand for a specific style of fishing. With that being said the latest edition to the Nanomatrix range is a 6-foot 4 inshore jigging rod designed to take on the strongest fish found in our waters.  Packed with a trigger grip base providing extra comfort whilst battling away.

Features:

Okuma’s Unidirectional Fibre Reinforcement (UFR) technology: Breakthrough design in rod strength and sensitivity. This patented manufacturing process utilizes an outer layer of longitudinal fibres around the rod blank to significantly increase the rod’s strength and power in the tip section. These fibres also increase the rod’s lifting power and maximum strength of the rod by up to four times that of a standard rod blank. The end result is an extremely powerful and durable rod which anglers can use with confidence.
